Parsable names and randomised players

When running the dares, the player order is fixed. It might be interesting to randomise this a bit. The same goes for chosen participants. It would be interesting if people were to be randomly selected to participate in a dare (taking into account player limitations).

It would also be nice to have names parsable into dares. So instead of having; 'Pour another player a drink' you could enter (for example) this text: '%player% pour %participant1% a drink' which would result in: 'Bill pour Laura a drink.'

    Hello,

yes, player randomisation is on top of our list. Probably we'd let the group choose to do clockwise / counter clockwise / random assignments (as in: who gets to draw the card) .. but also for cards with multiple players we'll let the group decide whether they want to choose the helping players per card or whether the game should just assign them randomly.

As for the "parsable names", that's already working. Next to the participants name in the editiing interface of a card there is a small crosshair button. Select the text you want replaced and then click the crosshair button.

As an example, look at and play https://www.truth-or-dare-editor.org/game/HeY-harmless-dares :) Have fun with that.

    so long,
    Peter
